This is a project by Engr. Gideon G. Buniel also known as “G” that participated in the recent Regional-wide Online Makers Challenge of Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Caraga under the non-student category. The said competition is for these inventors and innovators to bring interventions or to outsmart covid-19.

This project does not need Arduino microcontrollers because of the TIP42C transistor which serves as the switch for this project that also controls the Infrared (IR) proximity sensor. If it detects an obstacle within 5cm distance, the water pump turns-on which spout alcohol.

This is TAD: A Low-cost Do-It-Yourself Touchless Alcohol Dispenser. You can message me if you want to know more about this product or if you want to learn something about this.
